Kazae II Urushi Fountain Pen
The Taccia Kazae evokes the flowing wind with a striped pattern and intricately drawn lacquer. With a tradition from Ancient Japan, the wind of each season and time has been assigned a name. Each name symbolizes the significance of this unseen force to the culture.
In this Taccia Kazae collection, the wind is given physical representation through eggshells attached one piece at a time to an urushi barrel to connote a sense of movement. Admire the contrast of the black lacquer with its base and each individual eggshell piece attached securely to the piece.

The depth of the lacquer craftsmanship is also evident in the gradual transition from black to the colored ends of the pen and the textured gold accents that spiral around the pen cap and barrel.
The fountain pen uses a large 18k solid gold nib, made exclusively for Taccia. Uses a convenient cartridge/converter filling mechanism.
Comes with a 40mL bottle of Taccia fountain pen ink, converter, and 2 ink cartridges.
