Thinking ahead with the four new colors: Dusty Rose, Deep Sea, Spring Leaf and Spice Brown.

The four new 2025 colors inspire you to think ahead: a soft and elegant Dusty Rose, a fresh and invigorating Spring Leaf, a mystical and calming Deep Sea, and a warm and natural Spice Brown. In individual radiance or in harmonious interplay - the four new colors embody the transformative power of thinking with your hand. They invite us to question the status quo, sharpen our awareness of the essentials and implement plans in a future-proof and motivated way. From the moment, written by hand on paper, our thoughts become our motivation, our compass and our guide for the future.

Every moment offers the opportunity to make a significant and groundbreaking decision for our future. In the here and now, we prepare the way for tomorrow. We develop plans, concretize projects, formulate visions and translate these into clear goals. By following this process, we give it life and lay the foundations for the future.

We think ahead and shape today what will count tomorrow - Thinking ahead.

About Drehgriffel

Dreh – Griffel: a wordmark and play on words. The design of the ‘Drehgriffel’ wordmark stems from ‘Sütterlin’, a style of lettering developed in Germany during the 1920s to teach handwriting. The deliberate disparity between the wordmark’s old German style creates a playful contrast to the modern design. The German compound word Drehgriffel, which is made up of the two parts Dreh (to twist or turn in reference to the innovative twist mechanism) and Griffel (a nod to the oldest writing utensil in the world from the Greek grapheion), clearly reflects the deep roots of the traditional German company LEUCHTTURM1917. It is certainly no coincidence that the birth of the Drehgriffel and the foundation of Leuchtturm Album Publishing House both date back to the 1920s.
